During this workshop you will learn how motorized resistance technology is transforming physiotherapy and rehabilitation. Theoretical and practical knowledge will be applied to different cases and diagnoses that will instantly impact on your clinical work.

9:30 - 10:30 AM: Load Progressions and Regressions
-How to safely use exercise and load during rehabilitation. Force and load velocity relationships will be introduced and how they influence load prescription. Introduction to isokinetics and eccentric overload (theory and practical)

10:45 - 11:45 AM: Testing and Monitoring
-Understanding how to select exercises and loads in tests with discussion of outcome measurements

12:00 - 1:00 PM: Locomotive Strategies in Rehab
-Connecting different lower extremity diagnoses to different locomotive strategies under loaded conditions (theory and practical)

1:00 - 2:30 PMBreak for lunch

2:30 - 3:00 PM: Locomotive Strategies in Rehab (pt 2)

3:00 - 4:00 PM: Case Studies and Return-to-Play Considerations
-Case studies on trunk, lower and upper extremity applications (theory and practical)
