With motorized resistance, now you get to decide where to train. You're no longer limited to what traditional weights can do. Here are all the types of load you can create, going from the fastest to the most forceful.
1. Overspeed
The motor pulls the athlete faster than they could sprint on their own. True supramaximal speeds that challenge the nervous system to operate at that level.
2. Assisted
A forward pull that opens up higher speeds with less effort. The athlete’s job is to stay organized and hold their mechanics while the motor assists them there.
3. Resisted
A true concentric challenge across any movement pattern, from light sprint resistance to heavy locomotion. The load is precise and the movements are yours to choose, horizontal to vertical to everything in between.
4. Isokinetic
The motor limits the concentric speed, which means the only variable left for the athlete is force. Every rep becomes true max effort work, applied to any movement you want to train.
5. Eccentric Overload
Because muscles are stronger eccentrically than concentrically, this trains muscles how they function. Just by tapping the screen, more eccentric load is applied smoothly to every rep.
6. Eccentric Boost
No external load for true supramaximal eccentrics. The motor pulls down at 0.1m/s and the athlete produces as much force as they can against something they can’t lift.
